through every step of the project from initial design to final touches. Caroline’s approach was to
listen and really get to understand our own individual styles – which we had never really defined ourselves. After getting to know what our aesthetics were, she pushed us to explore bold and vibrant pieces we would have never been brave enough to piece together on our own.
As first-time home owners, we were in a little over our head on how to design the house that suited us. We shouldn’t have been worried at all. Working with Caroline was a pleasure and her creativity is amazing. Everyone who walks into our house is amazed at how it flows so well and feels, mature yet fun and homey – just the way we wanted it. We are now at the end of our project and are living in a beautiful, well designed and laid out home that works perfectly for our family and lifestyle!

Working with Caroline as I set about transforming my home was a total pleasure. She understood my needs and offered original and innovative ideas for each room. I tasked Caroline with an entire makeover of my newly purchased home – within a 3 month deadline – and during a pandemic. 

We had to re-wire and re-plumb.
We had to knock down and rebuild walls.
We had to reconfigure floor layouts.
Oh and we had no furniture, fixtures nor fittings.

Three months later, and we are ensconced in our beautiful fully furnished and fitted new home.
We are in love with the design, the execution and the way it makes us feel to live here.

Caroline brought a remarkable team led by Graham who worked with great passion, skill and efficiency and delivered a build project which was near stress free.

Caroline’s design evolved as the project progressed, which allowed us time to consider new ideas. I learned to listen to her and respect her unerring eye for colour, style and mood. She has an exacting eye for detail, often spotting items that I had missed.

Caroline was a joy to work with…approachable, open to ideas but firm when she needed to be. She is fun whilst being totally focused and she truly loves her work.

As you may have guessed I’m a big fan of Caroline and wholeheartedly recommend her.

Once the decision was made to renovate my apartment, I researched many interior designers but Caroline’s portfolio caught my eye, so I spoke with her and immediately decided she is the one. I will admit I was totally naive in the world of interiors with poor visualisation skills, include that with a bucketful of nerves re handing over to someone I didn’t know, I was probably the dreaded client. However Caroline was brilliant and so professional immediately putting me at ease. Her ideas were great but her attention to detail was exceptional. She went over and above in trying to help me make decisions. Her tradesmen were excellent and they were spot on trust her. And I am so glad I did. To anyone starting out on this journey, it is not without some stress but with someone like Caroline on your side it makes it so much easier. We contacted Caroline a couple of years ago when we needed to add some colour and design to our very neutral coloured walls and to work with the furnishings and flooring we had in place. We found Caroline most understanding, she presented ideas that we would not have considered but she also took our input on board so the finished rooms were something that we were incredibly happy with. We again called on Caroline in 2016 when we needed to do some refurbishment to our house due to water damage.

Again, Caroline was inspirational in re-designing a new layout for our kitchen which made it more practical for family living and yet, still warm and cosy. She also gave us great solutions to our dark hallway and helped by creating some ideas to give light in our small living areas. All the time, Caroline took into consideration our budget and worked with us to achieve the most amazing rooms.

Moving into a confirmed bachelor pad that required some serious renovating so that it became ‘our’ home after our wedding, was very important to me.
Since I was moving over from Austria, I was not familiar with Dublin, so I had to do my homework. I decided that due to my unfamiliarity it would be easier to use someone ‘ in the know’. I spent many hours on google researching interior designers until I found who I thought would be the right person for our small space. This was, ‘Interiors by Caroline’. I just loved what I saw on her website.

I came over and met with her and instantly knew we had made the right choice. Caroline did not disappoint in any way. She is the consummate professional who went above and beyond and has an incredible team of contractors. Each and every one did a superb job in their particular field.

Caroline ensured that all deadlines were met. We were well aware that not being on site during renovations would be considered a risk by many people, but we had complete faith in Caroline which was duly vindicated. We handed over the keys and left for our holiday abroad. We arrived home after three weeks and walked into our completed apartment as promised.

Caroline used the limited space brilliantly and it now feels so much more spacious as she was so creative with her ideas. Caroline is incredibly talented and I can recommend her to anyone who wants to transform their space in any way, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I met Caroline at RDS Ideal Home Show when we were only starting to build our house. We absolutely loved the show room she had on display so I insisted on having a chat with her there and then. She was very easy to talk to and showed genuine excitement and great vision around the possibilities when we showed her the plans. I kept her number knowing that she will be the one helping us eventually.

The first time we used Caroline’s help was when we needed to decide on electrics in the house and there was no way we could clearly imagine where to have lights, light switches or sockets. The work that she did was so good that we kept coming back for more so in the end it included design for 2 bathrooms and the living room, colours, painting and the lighting for the entire house.

As neither of us had ever gone through major construction or worked with an interior designer before we were unsure of the process. Caroline asked us a lot of questions about our tastes, listened to ideas and brought back a vision that was beautiful. She did a great job ensuring that design was something that both of us would love.

There are still a couple of rooms that we need to finish at a later stage and we are sure that we will be coming back to Caroline for help. Se is a true professional, super creative and is great to work with. We both highly recommend her anyone looking for help turning their house to a beautiful and unique home.

I had never really given any thought to what interior style might resonate for me so Caroline had to start with some pretty basic questions to draw out my preferences. She made the engagement really efficient and didn’t bring me on an overly long journey – that said I really enjoyed the process and how she joined up the dots on a look and a theme very quickly but in a way that respected my input.

The end product definitely exceeded expectations and she delivered a real wow factor while still being pretty understated – that was very important to me.

While I was a bit nervous about giving into some of the bolder elements of her vision that trust really paid off and it was those elements that really brought the look from just nice to really complete.

Caroline had some really clever ideas about using panelling and carpentry to add more texture to the rooms and her attention to consistency and detail was excellent.

She managed engagement with the various tradesmen in a really professional manner which limited the stress. She was also realistic about looking for cost savings that didn’t comprise the look.

Overall I can’t recommend Caroline highly enough. I will definitely be using her on my next project and will probably give her even more freedom to guide me to hopefully some pretty niche looks.
